The Patient Under Siege (2018)

Part of a larger pitch for a hematology project, this illustration captured the minds of all it was presented to. Given the prompt "the patient under siege," I took the initiative to create this piece. Emotionally charged and evocative of the burdens of disease, the image was created with the intention of drawing a physicians attention to the human burden of the disease, and to look beyond the clinical data and into the chaos of what the patient is experiencing.
